Computar was established in 1974 as a manufacturer’s brand of industrial lens and surveillance camera lens by the CBC Group.

Begins exporting CCTV Lenses for surveillance applications.

Launches "Computar" brand

Begins sales of motorized zoom lenses

Open New Headquarter building in Tokyo

Begins sales of varifocal lenses

Establishes Beijing Plant

Establishes Bangladesh Plant

1999

Changes company name to CBC Co.,Ltd.
